The Beginner’s Photography Workshop 10-2PM
Learn how to get the very best out of your camera and produce photographs that you are proud of. Also, meet like-minded people in Stryx Community Art Cafe and Gallery for delicious coffee and cake.
In a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn how to take great pictures so you will fully enjoy your photographic adventure.
Brief programme:
This workshop combines theory (basics of photography) and practice (exercises with your camera).
What will you learn?
You will discover the most important camera settings (explore Manual mode and venture beyond automatic exposure).
We will study basic photographic terms.
You will learn to use and understand: Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, and how these settings impact your exposure.
Exposure time ("freeze" people running or "set in motion" cars, know how to avoid blurry images)
Creating the right Depth of Field (make portraits with a blurred background or fully sharp landscapes)
Lighting (explore the most important element of photography)
Composition (crop choice to capture the essence of the image, rule of thirds)
Angle in image creation (change point of view and reshape your photographs)
We will start with a lesson at Stryx Gallery, and later, we will go to the streets of Jewellery Quarter to develop your new skills. BUY NOW
